Fiat has a small and cute vehicle called Fiat 500 Abarth. The first Abarth was Grande Punto Abarth Esseesse that was launched in released in 2008. When this first generation of Abarth was tested, this Fiat Abarth 0-60 fastest time was 7.4 seconds. And then, Fiat gave birth to the second generation of Abarth in 2009, it was Abarth Edition of 2009 Fiat 500. But when this vehicle was tested, the time that was taken by that vehicle to reach 60 miles per hour was 7.7 seconds.

Fiat also released some other Abarth including the 2010 500C Abarth Edition and 2011 500C Abarth Esseesse. When the 2010 Abarth was tested, the result of that vehicle to reach the speed of 60 miles per hour was 7.9 seconds. That result is slower compared to the 2011 Abarth that needed 7.5 seconds to reach the speed 60 miles per hour. Those first generations of Fiat Abarth needed at least seven seconds to reach 60 miles per hour.

It seemed like Fiat was working so hard to create the better generation of Fiat Abarth because the next generation of Fiat Abarth, the 2012 500 Abarth Edition and 2013 500C Abarth both needed less than seven seconds to reach the speed 60 miles per hour. The time that was taken by both 2012 and 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth was only 6.7 seconds. Fiat didn’t stop here. They released the next generation of 500 Abarth in 2015 model. Just like its older brothers, 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth should pass the speed test too.

When they tested the 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth, the result wasn’t so disappointing. 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth was able to reach the speed of 60 miles per hour in 6.9 seconds. Even though this result is lower than the 2012 and 2013 Abarth, this is still faster than the 2008 to 2010 models. The result of this 0-60 test didn’t affect people’s decision to purchase this cute car. Many loved this car since it has affordable price and classic look.

Fiat’s 2015 500C Abarth was not able to break speed records of 0-60 test because of its engine; the inline four-engine was not designed to break that speed record. This engine was only able to produce 101 horsepower. 2015 500 Abarth came in two different versions, cabrio and hatchback. The time needed by both versions to reach the speed of Fiat Abarth 0-60 test was the same, 6.9 seconds.
