by

The Accord Coupe V6 0-60 is not the only reason why we put this sedan as one of our recommendations. The 2015 Honda Accord comes with its well-versed mix of superb fuel economy, excellent packaging, and rewarding performance. In general, this mid-size sedan, which makes one of the top choices in its class, has high quality and roomy interior, quick acceleration, efficient and refined powertrains, generous standard features, and responsive handling. Even so, there are still many desirable features that are available only in higher trim levels.

With nothing much to improve from already-striking 2014 model year, the 2015 Honda Accord goes with only minor changes in standard features. But after all, remember that this midsize sedan has become a top-selling family sedan for about 30 years—and that’s not an easy job unless the car does have something that makes it desirable. The sedan comes with either 4-cylinder or V6 under the hood. For the 3.5L V6 models, three trims are available: EX-L, EX-L with Navi, and Touring.

For a midsize sedan that is also remarkable for the most popular family sedan, the 2015 model year comes with a high quality feel and look inside. The design is elegant. The cabin’s tight construction even adds a much stronger appeal than buyers often expect from an everyday family car. Ample legroom and shoulder room is available for both front and rear seating. In fact, the backseat is one of the best in the class. Improvement is also made to reduce the tire and road noise for even much more comfortable experience.

The V6 horsetrain under the hood is rated at 278 horsepower and torque of 252 lb.-ft. The engine is mated with a conventional 6-speed automatic with an ever-impressive fuel economy score at 26 mpg combined, or 21 mpg city and 34 mpg highway. Opt for the coupe version and the drivetrain will please you with only slightly lower fuel economy score with 25 mpg combined or 21 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Pair the engine with a 6-speed manual transmission, the fuel economy ratings drop to 22 mpg combined or 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway.

With 2016 Honda Accord V6, the sedan is solid quick. The engine revs willingly, delivering the power in a satisfying and smooth manner. The 2015 Accord Coupe V6 0-60 also proves the engine upgrade with the EX-L V6 option can run from null to 60 mph only in 6.1 seconds.
